Committed staff
We believe in people and their power to bring about changes that improve the social environment. Under this premise, the Prosegur Foundation encourages the participation of the company's professionals in different volunteer actions, thus supporting their commitment to solidarity. A commitment that drives us in our mission and fills us with pride: it's not just what they do, but how they do it.
Climate Volunteering
From Spain to Paraguay, passing through Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Uruguay, our professionals are involved in caring for their immediate environment through solidarity activities that combine direct cleaning or reforestation actions with training workshops.
Initiatives that make us reflect on individual responsibility in caring for the environment and are related to the protection of different habitats (river and beach cleanups, mangrove maintenance, visits to natural parks with awareness-raising activities, among others) and the collection of garbage and single-use plastics.
Some countries also include people with disabilities to promote their social integration and add an inclusive perspective to environmental awareness.

Volunteering in Piecitos schools
The strong linkage of the Latin American staff with the Piecitos schools is one of the essential features of the programme and also the attribute that gives the intervention model its unique character.
Our employees, in addition to submitting candidate schools, are actively involved in improvement actions on the ground, working together with communities towards the same goal.
Volunteering activities that have evolved from an initial phase more focused on helping in the rehabilitation of infrastructures, delivery of kits, etc. towards the transmission of knowledge and experiences to the students.
Volunteering for Inclusion
With our programme of inclusive activities, we aim to raise awareness among employees and their families about diversity and the rights of people with disabilities.
The inclusive days - implemented in Spain and Latin America - have a variety of themes (adapted sports, theatre, painting and cooking workshops, geocaching, eco-trekking, marathon or Camino de Santiago) and a common focus: teaming up with this group in a normalised and leisure environment.
Among these, a highlight is the Solidarity Race for Inclusion, which since 2018 has brought together employees, their families, and participants with disabilities to run side by side through the streets of Lima. Another standout initiative is the creation of the first inclusive single—and its music video—through an integrative volunteer project in Buenos Aires.

Motivational talks and career guidance
Aware of the need to promote safe and responsible technology use among children, we launched the Educando en Digital, project in collaboration with the social enterprise Gaptain. This initiative is aimed at educating and training employees’ children aged 8 to 12, through sessions led by trained Prosegur employee volunteers.
On another front, the lack of role models and access to career information often contributes to school dropout rates among young people from vulnerable backgrounds. To address this, Prosegur volunteers share their professional and personal experiences with high school and vocational students, serving as role models, offering inspiration, and guiding them as they shape their future.
In Chile, for example, we’ve conducted a series of job-readiness workshops for people with intellectual disabilities. During these sessions, Prosegur experts shared knowledge on inclusion, conflict resolution, how to write a CV, and how to approach a job interview.
